I have been very pleased with this monitor so far, the crown jewel to my new gaming desktop. After pouring all my heart, soul, and bank account into computer hardware, I quickly realized that the old 1600x900 monitor up on my shelf did not do my computer justice. A gaming computer is only as good as its monitor. So I decided to splurge one more time because you get what you pay for. I went over to my local BestBuy to see for myself how I liked the screen size, curvature, resolution, and refresh rate. This monitor was everything I hoped for. I favor a one monitor setup over multiple displays, so the one big screen size is wonderful, especially if you plug a console in as well so you sit a little farther back from the screen. The curvature is actually really nice, it feels very natural and looks super cool haha. I decided that 1080p would suffice over 2k or 4k. The 2k model for this monitor is an extra $100 bucks, and I feel like unless your gaming build is literally top of the line, you might struggle to maintain 60fps at 1440p. I think 1080p looks good enough, and Im happy to see GTA, Witcher 3, and many other heavy-hitters running at 60fps, while other, easier-to-run games go all the way up to 144hz with displayport connection. Plus the 1ms response time. Trust me, this is a good monitor, the only MSI product I own, and I am both impressed and satisfied. Like I said before, this is the crown jewel of my gaming setup.

The 1ms is misleading. It will go 1ms but when you change it to that it will greatly decrease the brightness. So much so that you cant really use it at that setting. That on top of their Promotions are misleading as well as I have to be in the UK to redeem the Tomb Raider promotion even though it said nothing about that on the website. Just not a great first impression for me with MSI.

I have only had this monitor for 3 months and every time I open a game, the picture either flickers or it flashes and comes back as a triple distorted image. The only way to fix is to shut the monitor off and then turn it back on. It does this EVERY time though. Also the audio doesnt register when you switch from HDMI to display port and also the only way to fix it is to turn the monitor off and back on. This also happens every single time I switch from HDMI to Display port. I contacted MSI and was told they can repair but I have to pay the shipping and handling to send it over to them which to me is not acceptable. I shouldnt have to pay one penny for something that was defective in under 3 months. I own a lot of MSI products but this may be my last if thats gonna be their warranty for products they make. EDIT: I decided to give this a 3 stars instead of 1 now. I have come to realize that some of the issues the monitor was having was common with having a multi monitor setup and especially switching between display and hdmi outputs. The monitor is honestly really nice and has great visual quality. I will not give it 5 stars only because of the support from MSI being pretty terrible but the monitor itself is great. Still use it as a second monitor with my 1440p. (MSI Did not contact me to edit this review. This was all my decision.)

He is an excellent monitor and he has been testing and it goes of a thousand wonders, his rate of refresh of 144 hrz and 1 ms of answer they do it one of the best monitors that eh had.

is the best for playing fast paced games and at a good price. i havent see any tearing (i am surprised because this unit has no Gsync) but playing around 65-120 fps havent seen any tearing at all. Amazing!

Just like what everyone else says, customer support was very disappointing, and was quick to blame Amazon. I figured "I usually get lucky with packages, I wont need support". Well, the moment I took it out of the box and plugged it in, I saw several green pixels that were burnt to the screen. The packaging was untouched and the external frame of the monitor was clean. I could tell this was the first time being opened. After contacting both Circuit City and MSI, both of them referred me to Amazon. I had to ship my monitor to Amazon and wait for the new one to time to me. I highly recommend going for a cheaper monitor with the same specs, and save yourself the hundred dollars and the headaches that come with this overpriced monitor.

Day 1 of owner shipped this msi product! Pros: great contrast/picture quality, works with g-sync, OSD is great and menu button is convenient, haven’t noticed any black bleed/flickering! I think i hit the lottery with this monitor. Cons: only 1080p but couldn’t justify upgrading to the cq model for $200 more. No wall mount instructions but I’m fully capable without them just a FYI. All in all purchase this monitor if you’re looking for a 27” curved 1080p monitor with a high refresh rate! It’s amazing and would purchase again!

I found this product to be quite impressive. The picture is amazing. It was made in a very sleek simple matter. The curvature gives it a nice look. I highly recommend this monitor to any gamer or designer who is looking to upgrade. I mainly play games on my pc. ( Destiny, ARK, WoW, CoD, etc.) Just from the initial start up I can tell how clear and smooth the picture comes out.! Great product. Side note : my laptop is equipped with a IPS screen. IPS is obviously superior now-a-days, you can barley even tell a difference between my laptop and this monitor I have next to it now.
