Overall the system worked well for almost 4 months. System stopped powering up at all. Went through technical support and tried to troubleshoot. Check power supply, RAM etc. Determined the problem was in the NUC. It has been a week and I keep getting an email saying they are looking at warranty options, availability etc. but it may be another week before they figure it out and get back to me. I am not a happy camper. We actually use the computers we buy and it is a problem to go for extended periods without it. Get it together, either fix it or replace it! I will update this review with final results and timetable.

The item number is BOXNUC8i5BEKPA1. The “PA” at the end indicates the ram and ssd. Search for it on itel’s Website to get a complete description. There are cheaper versions that are assembled by third party companies. Not only is this backed by intel, but they use a top line intel ssd that is much faster than the SATA SSDs used in other builds.
