Really impressed. Wanted to upgrade the computer in our church secretarys office, and did not want to break the bank. I liked that this was small, decent i5 processor, Windows 10, 8 gb memory. Really checked all of the boxes of what I was looking for in an "office PC". Ordered, works great, I mean, really nice! As it happened, I had an unused 240gb SSD, so I upgraded from the conventional drive to the SSD, and this sucker really flies! Will it play graphics intensive games? No, Im sure it will not. The internal Intel graphics are NOT that hot. But are you really wanting to buy something like this for gaming? I hope not! You want to game, get a gamer PC. But do you want to get WORK done, and have a reliable and (dare I say) cute PC? Will this work well with Microsoft Office, web-browsing, email, the churchs dedicated database software, etc? Yes, it will, and it does! Seriously, if you are looking for a nice, fast, computer for regular "office" type use, you should give this a look. Lots of ports, external power supply, really quiet. Also, if you DO decide you want to upgrade to a SSD, it is the really easy and practically tool-less. Brackets make popping out everything simple, and I only needed to use a screwdriver to remove the old hdd and put in the ssd...4 screws total! How easy is that? Ive never been happier with a less than $200.00 PC purchase. By the way, it shipped quickly, and was well packed. I am very pleased with this vendor, and would absolutely order from them again. And no, I was NOT paid for this review, and I am not the owner of the company or something. I am just truly impressed by the value here. Oh, it also looks almost new...maybe a few small blemishes, but nothing to detract from the overall appearance, at least on the one I got. 2 possible CONS: 1. Although this does have open internal expansion slots, there is precious little room inside to add, say, a video card. Apparently there are a few small, relatively low-powered cards that would allow some graphics-intensive activity, but you really shouldnt expect to upgrade much of anything on this PC with the exception of the hard drive or memory. Not a big con to me, but might be an issue for some. 2. This is a refurb, and the refurb company simply wiped the existing hard drive and installed Windows 10. Thats Ok, and exactly what I was expecting. However, when upgrading to a solid state drive, when I pulled the old hard drive out, it was from 2013. CPUs dont wear out, neither does memory, but a hard drive that is 5 years old MIGHT end up developing issues, especially when it is the smaller "notebook" size hard drive (and this one is). So...IF you are planning to keep the existing hard-drive, be aware that the drive already has 4-5 years of use. Sometimes a mechanical drive will work for years and years, thats true. But sometimes when they get around 5-6 years old, they can start failing. Having said all that, you can buy a 250 gb SSD for as little as $60.00 on Amazon...so just upgrade the drive when you get it...youll get the reliability you need, and youll love the 20 seconds from boot to ready to use! Just sayin!

I was searching for a work PC, but didnt wanted to invest more. Also, I was looking for something small and use an external keyboard and mouse with it. Thats how, I ended up buying this PC. I got the UltraSlim. Looks like the PC was barely used. I am happy I made the choice. I got this for around 200 bucks. The sellers include a HP Keyboard and a mouse combo with this purchase. Cons: I was not really aware that these do not come with power supplies. Quite a surprise. Buying the PC was the easy part. But finding a compatible power supply was really hard. I ended up buying KFC AC Adapter. I was not able to use the PC when it arrived. I wish they mentioned that clearly Or they included one.

wonderfu; so easy to i nstall I am 76 years old woman and did it myself. Thought I needed a new printer hooked yp computer NOW the printer works like a charm. I could not be happier, Normally I do not like second or third party vendors BUT this one was great. So happy I took a chance.

Got the package on time in secure box, looking very clean and pro., including HP 8300 desktop, envelope with instruction and Win10 cd + product key, new keyboard and new mouse still in plastic bags and also ethernet cable, and vga cable included. So I would say that is a very nice refur. package, I already have a monitor to set it up and power up system, entered product key as asked for first time, window 10 pro came up without problem - oh you also need a USB WiFi adapter to hook up to internet.

Had a little trouble getting the correct unit. After several months of use it kept turning off unexpectedly. Reseated processor, reformatted hard drive, tried everything since all was pointing to overheat or possibly bad os installation. Finally tried removing one ram sodimm and voila, worked perfectly. Replaced both ram to 16gb, it is now screaming fast and no shutdowns.

I bought this PC JUST as my media server for my own movies and music. Works great. Just plugged it in and set it up. Its been up ever since I bought it. The first one I bought shipped and it beeped when I turned it on and it didnt work, but then I returned it without any hassle and they shipped me a replacement and it works fine. Perfect for my use. Comes with keyboard and mouse, but I dont use it since I remote desktop into it when I need to make changes. Cuts down on having to have a separate monitor, keyboard and mouse since Im just using it as a media server.

Not worth it. Worked fine after I used an older connection for the CPU to monitor as a HDMI cord would not fit into the CPU unit despite it having a hole for it. Tried another brand new HDMI cable and had no better luck. The power cord seemed to work but was/is frayed near the end and after about a week and half of light use the computer no longer boots up. Contacted seller for a return and instead of providing return instructions we get to try and troubleshoot the computer. Great.

I tried one of these, as well as four other mini PCs. None of them worked. This one, even though a more traditional desktop design, still had a windows driver problem and would neither boot windows, not could it auto-repair itself. Ultimately, after 5 failures, I ordered an Intel NUC, and I am having good luck with that

What a deal on a computer! Less than $200, throw in a 4 year warranty and you have a great machine for just over 200. I have installed a 250Gb SSD and a 2Tb external drive on mine. I plan upgrade to 16Gb of Ram, but right out of the box this thing will take care of your needs except for gaming. It arrived as promised and package very well. I wish they would have included the vertical stand with it like in the picture.

I ordered three HP Elite 8300 Ultra Slim Desktop computers and NONE of them came with the power adapter. I am returning these computers for a refund.
