I bought this tablet/ desktop mainly for streaming purposes, and being that it was listed for less than $280, I thought it was a steal. Setup was a bit iffy, being that it is a touchscreen, using the stylus to enter information was a pain. Once I connected the bluetooth keyboard and mouse, setting up was a breeze. I uninstalled all the bloatware, and let the computer take almost an entire day to download and update itself. Once all that was out of the way, this computer has pleasantly surprised me. I cut cable a while back, and now stream all of my content. The 17 inch HD screen is beautiful to look at, and watch movies/ TV on. The videos play without buffering, and with multiple browser tabs open (this might be internet speed dependent) . I have even setup a Plex media server on this machine for streaming content to my TVs. The negatives for me include, the 2 USB ports (needed at least 2 more), and the built in speakers are terrible ( solved this by connecting to my Echo ). The computer lacking a disc drive was not a deal breaker for me. Amazon states on the title that it has a 1TB HDD, however it only comes with 500GB. Other than that, so far so good. My 4 stars account for the price, functionality, and the bare minimum hardware required to run Windows. 9 Month Update: Purchased on August 2018. The All In One last week started to shut down by itself and then try to reboot. I made sure that it was up to date, ran Windows troubleshooting, nothing showed up. Yesterday the computer essentially bricked itself. It wont power up, just shows the Acer splash screen, beeps and then powers down. It does this randomly by itself. Contacted Acer warranty support, was told it might be a hard drive failure. It appears that I will have to pay for the return shipping to have it repaired according to the fine print on the warranty. Brings to mind the proverb "All that glitters is not gold". Truly disappointed with this purchase and outcome.

Nice looking piece and clear screen but straight out of box only using Firefox it was already using 100% CPU ! YouTube on full screen was freezing up every few minutes. I will have to tinker and uninstall the bloat ware and perhaps that will help

Picture amazingly vivid ten point touch is nice but the reason I got it in the first place was to designing drawing painting coloring drafting creating all different kinds of artistic images and its lovely easy to open out of the box turn on and right away create whatever the imagination the possibilities are endless with nice pen that is nice and pressure sensitive is nice and the fell is also nice looks nice good weight to it and responsiveness is good it comes with a nice set of wireless keyboard and mouse that are also nice lightweight easy to set up also look nice the black ok black cant go wrong its the biggest portable desktop laptop tablet flipbook that still able to take wherever without looking to funny carrying a 40in flatscreen around

We got this computer on a lightning deal for less than $300 so we decided to give it a try. Bad idea. Upon initial startup it was very slow to get logged in which I thought may have been the initial install process and a bunch of updates so I gave it time to get itself squared away and restarted after all updates were complete but there was no improvement. We use this very minimally and its main purpose in life is to search the internet, do our banking, and create a few word documents here and there so I figured I didnt need anything too fancy or fast but good god I cant wait to replace this piece of crap. I dont usually review anything because I am generally pretty satisfied with the things I purchase and they perform as expected so my review would be useless in most cases. This one on the other hand has pissed me off so much that I really felt I needed to warn others. We have been dealing with this computer for about 3-4 months now and it continues to make me feel like throwing it through the wall. I timed it today to see how long it would take to double click an excel spreadsheet on the desk top and actually load it to the point where I could read it. No BS it took over a minute before I could read and edit the damn document. It really made me feel like I was back in the days of windows 95. I have ran virus scans, malware scans, and everything else under the sun and everything comes back clean. This thing is just FRIGGING SLOW!!!!! Go find something else with better reviews and better processing power this thing will make you pull your hair out.

Delivered quickly and I like the look and picture quality of screen but I had many problems with it being slow and freezing up on me. I had to hard shut it off by holding on/off button down a couple times and as a result lost the windows program. It took time and a lot of effort to get download for windows to be reinstalled. I lost what few programs I had installed. I had to have my brother (computer expert) come over and work with it for some time to regain use. It now functions okay but still suffers from occasional slowing and short freezing.

Its a different concept for a PC and it does take a little bit to get used to it but once you do, it is amazing. Yes, if you have 4GB RAM, it is as slow as any other laptop with 4GB RAM. go for 8GB, big difference. As for the configuration without a keyboard, it is amazing and youll be used to it in no time. If you have 8GB RAM, you can use the windows voice to text software and talk to it without typing. It feels like a giant phone or i-pad but with an amazing giant screen, a full-capacity windows machine with a monster battery. You really can watch movies for about 4.5 hours before

Horrible item. I bought it because it looked sleek which it was but it’s slow as can be. I call my internet provider spent money to bring them down to see why it’s so slow and it was the computer. Bottom line I hate this thing it’s a pc of ....

I love this machine! So Far, so good! Windows once removed some software I added, but has not done so since. Its pretty fast and silent and I am getting used to Windows 10. I replaced an HP with Vista, so, a bit of a learning curve, but doing well with it.

Terrific computer. A bit slower than expected on startup, and Ive had some issues with the speakers. All in all - great product!
