broke immediately--plugged the device in and entered all of my passwords for streaming services. Tested the streaming, it seemed fine. Turned everything off. When I came back to watch a streaming program, I pushed the power button and nothing happened. The unit would not power up at all. How am I supposed to returned this to the seller when my Amazon, Hulu, Netflix and other streaming services passwords are all on this unit. I had to destroy this Player and eat the charge and reset all passwords. Buyer beware! I should have read the terrible return policy. There is a restock fee even if the merchandise is damaged. NEVER EVER AGAIN! I buy too many things from Amazon to have to deal with all the things that went wrong with this transaction!

After only 3 month the player quit playing. The remote is hard to use because the buttons are small and clustered near the bottom. Not back lighting on remote or power button on player. 11-30-17 I was contacted by seller and asked for the order #. I supplied this and was told by seller he would "get back to me". This was 2 weeks ago. I have since bought a new Sony player and it took less than 5 minutes to install and works great, much faster and even has a power indicator light. The remote is also easier to use one-handed.

I feel like I should start this with an evil laugh. This player worked fine for months, and then it did not.I dont have to go into detail, just Google Samsung Blu-Ray Disc Player issues and read. Then do your research and spend your money on something else.

Ive had this for less than 9 months and it has completely stopped working. Not worth trying to repair. Save your money and buy a different unit, very disappointed in this product, ive never had a DVD player stop working like this! DO NOT order from this seller, they have a 30 day window AND DO NOT stand behind the products they sell!!

PROS: - I really love that it plays DVDs and Blu-ray. I dont have to worry if the "wrong disc" comes for a library hold. Also, dont have to worry about replacing all my DVDs if I had decided on Blu-ray. - Able to stop show and come back later and pick up where left off. - If hooked up right, will turn a SAMSUNG TV on for you (when you load a DVD) - on newest TVs. - Remote is set up to be universal for SAMSUNG TV and Player - Subtitle button is on remote CONS: - Cant tell when the machine is on (no indicator light). - If you lose the remote or it breaks, you are screwed (no buttons on machine except eject and power). - Cant avoid the previews - have to FFWD through them. - FFWD is slow and jerky. - Unable to jump chapters, have to FFWD through all. A real pain if you accidentally stop the movie wrong and it takes you back to the beginning. Wish it held more discs. I loved my 5 disc player. I was able to end part 1 and start part 2 or different episodes right away. This would also be great if listening to music. I was actually looking to replace my 5 disc as it died, but I was unable to find a new one (only refurbished). Take my complaints with a grain of salt. I was spoiled by my 5 disc player. Overall, a basic machine. But if 5 disc (or even 3) disc players were still sold, I would have purchased that instead. - I recently started using Amazon Prime (Im hooked) Anyway, one of my players works great, the other loses the connection to the internet during the movie or TV shows. Wont repurchase.

90 days from date of receipt June 20th, 2017 and it stop working on Sunday evening. Would not turn on with remote, changed battieres, still didnt work nor would it turn on from the unit itself. Very unhappy and did think I purchased a warranty cause I had another Sony that barely lasted two years!

This is a great DVD player that works well. I was able to hook it up to my Samsung TV effortlessly and the remote has all of the functions that you would want. If I were to gripe about anything it would be that I wish that there were a power light or something on the front of the DVD player that lets you know that its on. Other than that its easy and does what its supposed to do. I would definitely recommend this DVD player.

I purchased this Blu-ray, DVD, CD, player from uShopmall through Amazon. I purchased this item as a used item in like new condition at a discount. The package arrived 5 days early. When it arrived the original box was in a separate box. When I opened the outer box I found it in its original packaging. The original box did have some damage and had been opened and retaped shut. Upon opening the original box everything appeared to have been packed from the factory. The only thing that would indicate that it was not was the remote had been removed from its original package the batteries were installed and the package resealed everything else was in new condition. It was very simple to connect to my surround sound receiver 2. When I used it it worked perfectly and thanks to Samsungs technology sounded great. I would use uShopmall again without any concern.

I tried contacting the seller to replace or return this item--I have gotten NO REPLY from them. This DVD player plays EVERYTHING SO DARK!!! You cant even make out faces or other objects when they are in a darkened room or space, and nighttime scenes are impossible to decipher! Even daytime or bright scenes are darker than they should ever be. I played these DVDs on another player and the scenes were nice and bright (this is a Blu-Ray Disc Player, too!). I am still hoping to hear from them--they ARE Amazon sellers after all!

I bought this to replace an older Samsung Smart player, because the wifi connection began to fail. This new one works well and was fairly easy to connect and set up. I use it primarily for streaming Netflix and playing Blu-Ray discs. I would recommend this one.
