Its a BIG monitor. ENORMOUS. It maxes out at 1920 x 1020 pixels, so its HD but not ULD or 4K. But thats good, because my old eyes need a big monitor with big pixels. Most enormous monitors dont look good when scaled to 1920 x 1080, but this one is beautiful. Even looks good for gaming such as World of Warcraft.

I really love this monitor. I have been using a VX2770 for many years now and this one is very similar. The only thing is the backlight bleed is HORRIBLE. All four corners. Its so noticeable its impossible to ignore. I decided to exchange it to try to get a unit without backlight bleed. Another reviewer stated he exchanged five times to get a good monitor. Update 12/13/2018: Recvd my first replacement from Amazon - this unit is completely broken. Oddly is has no backlight bleed, but it looks like someone stabbed the monitor with a screwdriver or dropped it onto a point. The entire screen is unworking/damaged. Third time is a charm I hope? 12/18/2018 Update: Received my THIRD monitor...and while not broken - it has significant backlight bleed that is not fixable. At this point I realize this unit is not a good choice if you ever plan to have dark backgrounds (photo or video editing, games etc) The only redeeming thing in this whole process was Amazons ease of exchange and return policy...even though a rep misinformed me, Amazon took care of me with credits. I just wish I had a properly working monitor. Will likely return this one.

This is a great full sized monitor. With ViewSonics downloadable software you can split the screen into many, many, different views. Very thin, easy to install, just plug and play I will, in the future, only purchase monitors with two HDMI inputs that can be controlled with "on screen display". It gives you many options expecially if you operate remotely. If you do not have these special requirements, this monitor is great.

This is used for documents, no gaming or videos. I havent tried any color balance tests. Works well for office work, looks nice and modern. We have 2 matching units purchased a few months apart. Color/brightness seems a little different between the 2, as they are side by side at different angles, but not distracting so I havent bothered messing with the settings.

Quick Pro/Cons: Has speakers, but no volume control. Has multiple video inputs, but no rotation control. Came with HDMI and power cable, monitor is sleek, stand is elegant and sturdy. Standard shipping was very fast. My implementation is dual-monitors, suspended from the ceiling. (Upside-down). Lack of rotation control means: No ROKU, No Casting. PC is required for video; output must be capable of 180° rotation video signal output. Very happy with with build quality and packaging. Impeccable quality control. Highly recommended for standard installation with external volume control. Perfect for a dedicated and standalone PC monitor. -Nathan

For 40 years in computing I have always enjoyed the quality of the view sonic monitors. I used them for several years but because of their expense was unable to get them for personal home use. When I found this model and the exceptional price on Amazon, I purchased it. It was been wonderful. Great size, color, and clarity. Im not thrilled with the adjustment buttons on the back, but it is adjustable. The speakers are adequate but an external speaker system is much better.

I LOVE this monitor. I love it out the box. I did not have to make any adjustments. I am only using it for work, no gaming. I just got it so I have not tested anything else. I will update if my opinion changes. The monitor is very sleek and opened up so much room on my desktop. I am planning on mounting it in the next couple of days. Having the ability to mount it is the reason I purchased this monitor. I find that the stand is sturdy and supports the monitor very well. I have not tested the sound yet. I will update my review with that rating once I use it. If you are just looking for a monitor to use this is an amazing purchase for the price.

The on/off switch fell out of my two year old LG, rendering it useless. As I looked over other brands I remembered I had a smaller Viewsonic monitor in the past, so I decided to try this one. So far Im pleased. The display is good, the controls seem much sturdier than the LG, and it was easy to set up. With these larger monitors it takes some time to figure out preferences on things like screen mode, brightness, blue filter...etc. But out of the box this one worked fairly well. Hopefully, this is a much better choice for me than the last one.

We have several of these at my office and when the price went down, I ended up getting one for my home and gaming setup. MAKE SURE you have enough space on your desk, as this will take up a bit of room. It doesnt come with a Display port cable, so make sure you purchase one if you need it. (Only comes with HDMI cable.) Other than that one gripe, this screen is perfect!

needed a large monitor (but didnt want to get a TV) for business use. purchased it based on other reviews and it exceeded my expectations. was afraid that 1920x1080 resolution might look grainy on a big monitor but thats not the case at all. excellent value and stylish to boot. have only had the monitor for a couple of days so hard to judge reliability but Ive purchased Viewsonic monitors in the past and never had issues. cant beat it for the money. will probabaly be buying more of these.
