Picture Quality: I quite like it. The screen seems to not have the lag time of my previous monitor. I dont game a ton, mostly Warframe and state of decay 2, but it looks very nice on those games. I am colorblind so I cant speak to the richness of the color, but the colors I can see blue/yellow seem nice. If I had a complaint about this monitor. The stand is a little cheap and seems to snap in and out when adjusted. I have switched to a monitor arm and used the vesa mounts. My only other complaint is the buttons. They are easy to bump when adjusting the monitor. I wish they werent quite so sensitive so if you bump one it wouldnt change your settings. I would probably buy a second one for a dual monitor setup. I feel the quality is good for the price.

My Acer Monitor was going bad, so I wanted a cost effective replacement. Based on the reviews, this should have been the answer. However, once hooked up, the picture quality had a subtle blur and was just not sharp. For the several low tech games I play, it was even worse. My be fine for someone who does not need HD graphics, but was not for me. I am returning and I ordered the BenQ ZOWIE RL2455S 24 inch 1080p Gaming Monitor, which I am using now. A huge improvement for a small amount of extra cash. So low to mid-level gaming, as well as pictures and videos, take a pass here and go for the BenQ ZOWIE RL2455S.

This thing flickers quite a bit in dark scenes. I googled "led-lit lcd flickering" and apparently its a result of pwm led lighting (it pulses the leds). Not sure why they have to flicker or why exactly it happens. I adjusted brightness, contrast etc from minimum to maximum and didnt notice much of a difference, though brighter did make it a little better. Right now its hooked up to my Xbox 360 (no PC at the moment) playing Thief with the in-game brightness set at 50% and I can notice flickering in dark corners. So basically its an inverse relationship between brightness and flickering. More brightness = less flickering. Less = more. Im going to give this a week and see how much it bothers me. I also heard that some people get headaches because of it, so well see. I might return it if I dont think its worth the cheap price. If I keep it Ill give a more detailed review.

I was going to leave a bad review for the monitor because it came with a yellow tint. No amount of tinkering the settings was able to fix it. I was going to return it and had another monitor picked out, but when I came back to it a couple hours later, everything was fine! Maybe the pixels needed some time to "warm up?" Im not too knowledgeable with hardware / physics so I cannot justify this phenomenon, but this screen is way better than my Asus monitor with the same specs!

Returned the first one and the replacement does not work either. It was a big disappointment to my nephew as it was my gift to him. BENQs support was no help at all.

I have this monitor paired to an Intel i7 CPU and a RX580 black edition GPU and the monitor looks very good. While not 4k color and clarity are very good and I have no dead pixels. For the price of this monitor it is hard to find better in this class. I also have a higher end Viewsonic but I prefer to use this monitor daily especially the low blue light feature for reading and web browsing. I waited some months to review to make sure of the quality. If you are look for a good monitor in this price range this is the one to buy.

What a great monitor. I have it hooked up to a Mac Mini using the hdmi port. I must say, when it first came on it was very bright and the text against it was very hard to read. The lesson is not to panic. The menu system is very easy to access on the side of the monitor. It is straight forward and easy to navigate and if you tweak the brightness, the contrast and the sharpness you can really fine tune the picture to your liking. With some patience I have my picture looking sharp and crisp. The quality of this monitor for $120.00 is amazing. I would definitely purchase another.

The monitor is great- plenty of ways to customize the settings. Had to go into the settings and turn HDMI Auto Switch to OFF. It has great light distribution and easy on the eyes. Plenty of screen space to work on. The speakers are disappointing, but I figured as much. They work well for just viewing small videos for homework. If you want good sound, youll need external speakers. Great monitor!

I bought this in May of 2016 and I have had ZERO problems with this monitor. No dead pixels, nothing! The mechanical buttons are rock solid as well. I use this monitor for both my desktop and my company laptop, so Im constantly switching from the HDMI port to the VGA port (that my laptop is connected to). The buttons used to switch back and forth have performed flawlessly (but now Ive just jinxed myself and theyll probably fail tomorrow). Great monitor, plenty of viewing space. I went from a 21" to this 24". It took a little getting used, but I love the extra "real estate" now. UPDATE: Ive had this monitor now for over two years with ZERO issues. No dead pixels. This is a solid monitor. And no issues with the buttons on the side that I use daily to switch between the HDMI and VGA ports. Great product!

This monitor has changed the way I game and look at other TVs for that matter. The screen is crisp and clean. Its not a humongous sized monitor for my small desk of 50 inches either which I like. I play console so after researching about ms time and Hz I realized that I didnt need to go overboard with a 1ms and 120hz because my console could only do 60. Eventually, I will be getting into PC so I wanted something that was still good quality and I think this was a perfect match. As said before the screen is beautiful with the best feature in the world for someone who wants to stare at the screen for extended hours the flicker-free backlight. That has honestly saved my eyes to the point where I dont even notice the room is dark because my eyes are somehow pain-free. The power saving feature also comes in the clutch because I do leave my monitor on from time to time and it shuts off shortly. The audio is trash but thats expected with these kinds of monitors I just hooked up an old sound system and now I can stream movies all day long. I am thinking about buying another one once I get a pc!
