Good mouse pad for the price. The edges arent completely flat due to how its rolled up. Will hopefully flatten over time. The mouse pad itself is thinner than other gaming pads by a hair. The "rubberized" back surface isnt as thick due to this but it doesnt slide around at all. This is all soft cloth, not like the harder plastic/laminate pads. It will collect oil and dust and need to be cleaned with water every now and then. The size is great and the quality is consistent all the way through. If you need more space for arm aiming or just a low sensitivity mouse this is a great size to get you to move your arm forward and stop putting weight onto your wrist. Despite being thinner and all cloth its definitely worth the price and probably the best mouse pad you can get that wont gouge you for having a cool gaming logo.

Overall really good. Has lasted me over 8 months so far. Only complaint would be the edge feels a little sharp until it wears in from my forearm.

First off the reason for 4 stars: The edges are sharp. Not cut you sharp, but it is irritating. Im sure over a bit of time it may wear down, or that may be the downfall of this mousepad, either way, the edges are noticeable. Its not REALLY noticeable, but its there. Amazon did a good job here of providing a really nice, sturdy mousepad. Its thick, has enough cushion to be comfortable but not so much you feel the "drag" while moving the mouse. Its accurate with all of the mice I use which are Razer Naga Hex, Logitech G502 Spectrum, Logitech MX Master and my cheap Logitech pocket mouse. Its improved accuracy with all of them as well as comfort over using the hard-surfaced pads. I find myself going back and forth between a cloth style pad like this and the hard-surfaced pads, but this pad is here to stay for its full life expectancy. You really need to make sure you have enough room for it though. Its not so much the width but the 16" front to back that could get you into trouble. I have a massive desk, so it fits well. A bit about me: Average time in front of my computer = 10 Hours for my IT consulting / 2 hours every few days for gaming, 5 days a week. I also do some gaming on weekends. Just qualifying my review. :)

This is one of those things where I dont know where it has been all of my life. Full disclosure, Im not a PC gamer at all -- I simply wanted a nice, wide, smooth surface for my hands, keyboard and mouse. This thing is absolutely fantastic! Honestly, Im going to give some of them as gifts this year.. thats how much I like it. Nothing fancy, no crazy piping or design on it, just a nice, comfortable surface. Calling this one a big win.

AmazonBasics Mini Gaming Mouse Pad I wasnt expecting much. Thought it was time to replace my worn out mouse pad after 20+ years. Basically, I ordered two of the first one that appeared in the search. I couldnt be happier. These are nice and thin, do not slide on my desktop, my mouse responds perfectly. Couldnt be happier!

The edges dont lay flat on the table. Other better brands, the edges lay flat out of the box. Also, edges are sharp and unfinished so it will irritate your skin - this is also not the case with other brads. Just pay 5 more dollars and get the one by St**lS*ries. If you are moving your arm/mouse a lot (which is what this mouse pad is for), this ought to bother you. Everyone who gave 5 or 4 stars must have very thick skin, or they are not using the mouse pad the way it is supposed to be used, or I just got a bad one.

Compared to the Logitech G640, this is a thinner, rougher texture. I fine the smoother surface of the G640 much more comfortable to game on, and the thicker mouse pad more comfortable and high quality feeling. The Amazon pad is a great size, just a bit too rough and thin for my liking. After trying TONS of mouse pads, I would recommend the G640 for $40 or the Steelseries Qck + over this for a similar price.

I had previously bought a alienware mouse pad from Dell, really good material but way too big. I had been searching for a gaming mousepad because I find they work so much more efficiently when using the mouse. There is a great variety of them with many, many reviews to read to decide which might work best for you. This was a very good size, I bought the mini which Measures 8.3 by 9.8 by .08 inches. Its perfect. A bit larger than average but smaller than the normal gaming size. I think this would be perfect for most including gamers. It is made of very sturdy material and I find it the exact same material I had previously on my alienware mouse pad. It arrived rolled up but once unfolded, easily relaxed and offered no hindrances to a seamless use of the mouse. I highly recommend amazon basics products, they are affordable and good quality. This mouse pad was such a excellent price, sturdy construction, great size. I am very happy with the purchase.

How do you botch a mouse pad? My last mouse pad was purchased years ago from a giant floor basket at Frys Electronics for 99¢. It served me well, but after time the fabric began to separate from the backing, and it was a bit yucky. So, I ordered this thing from Amazon, it was rather pricey - but what the heck. What a mistake. After over a month it still wont lay flat. It literally sat in a window in the sun for 2 weeks when it was apparent that its chosen memory position was the tube it came in. Its so freaking thin it catches on my sleeve and gets dragged around on the desktop. It really doesnt want to stay in one spot. For a bit of history, Im somewhat familiar with mouse pads. Ive been using the things since 1984. If Im not using my tablet, Im using a mouse. Ive had everything from the hard plastic "fast track" pads that sand the teflon glides off of a mouse in a matter of hours, to the fancy and expensive grid-type "high resolution - swearsies!" pads made for optical mice when they first appeared on the scene. Ive had and used everything from the trash and trinkets promotional types to the framed ones to show off your kids photos to the ones in trays with gel wrist pads. While many were disappointing, some just meh - Ive never actually been ticked at one before. Awesome job Amazon! Sadly, I missed my return window for this thing - I had pulled my old pad out and set this one in a window to see if it would ever flatten out and forgot about it. No, its yet to flatten out. Very rarely do I feel completely ripped off, but Amazon seems to have figured out some great new products that tempt the 1-2 star ratings. Dont buy it. There seems to be nicer ones that youll need to look harder for, because Amazon would rather put this 3¢ piece of junk at the top of the "Amazons Choice" instead of one thats more than 1/16" thick and functions as it should. Pros: - Black - Big - Gigantic Amazon Basics logo to impress your friends and family - special cylindrical form factor Cons - paper thin - permanently curled - snags on sleeve to take trips around desk - stinks - as in smells bad - took about 3 weeks to dissipate - Still some room for more of that amazing Amazon Basics logo Amazon used to list what the star rating was, but they seem to have ditched that along with a lot of other things when it comes to reviews. As I recall, 1 star was I hate it, and that pretty much sums it up. The fact Im using a 6 year old mouse pad with peeling edges instead of this thing should be a good summary.

I have a Logitec Wireless Laser mouse and a 27" desktop which is a lot of screen for the pointer to cover. This mousepad works great with my set up. Smooth, snag free operation with just the right amount of friction between the mouse and pad. I need a lot of pad real estate with a 27" screen so the standard was a perfect size. recommended.
