At first I thought I need to get used to it, but now after a couple of weeks I have a chance to compare it side by side with a cheaper Logitech mouse (m510) I can say precision is poor on this one. Too much hassle to return, throwing it away...

Seeing that this was the Amazon equivalent to the Logitec Performance MX full-size mouse (at half the price), I decided to give it a shot. First thing I noticed upon taking it out of the package was that the pad at the front end of the mouse was not as thick as the pad at the back end. Any time I clicked the buttons the mouse would rock on the uneven pads. Easy enough to fix by adding a few layers of scotch tape over the front pad to thicken it up, but disappointing nonetheless. Once that was fixed, I started using it. Its definitely ergonomic and comfortable to hold. Its also pretty smooth on larger motions, though it struggles a bit with small movements. I doubt it would be enough to bother the average user, but as someone who uses this mouse a lot for computer drafting (which requires small, precise movements) it can make things more difficult than they need to be. At least the extra buttons are well placed. If youre not the type to use them, you usually wont accidentally hit them. If you are the type to use them, theyre close enough that you wont need to contort your hand to reach, and they feel pretty solid. Ive also noticed that this mouse burns through batteries like nobodys business. Its now on its 3rd set of batteries in 5 months. At 2 batteries a pop, thats pretty bad. For reference, I treat this mouse pretty similar to the way I treat my Logitech M510 mouse and the M510 usually goes a year-plus without needing new batteries. Overall, the bells and whistles are well-designed but some of the basic functionality feels like its been overlooked. Its a good deal for the price, but if you need a performance mouse this isnt quite it.

The mouse looks great, and feel great with your hands. But two issues make me decide to return it: - Mouse delays: once in a while, the mouse will have half-second delays in response. It is a little unpredictable, after shaking the mouse to make sure it response, it will be back to normal... - Oversensitive: again, once in a while, it would jump all over the place, making you look for the cursor all over the screen.

I originally bought this for work because I was provided a very small, crappy wireless mouse that made my hand hurt after extended periods of time. I wanted something a bit more ergonomic and portable and this product definitely gave me that. Unfortunately, this mouse has such a crappy laser that I still experienced hand/wrist strain. The mouse is very difficult to control when moving at lower speeds that require precision (i.e. highlighting text or selecting a checkbox on a screen). The cursor would frequently jump past the object I was attempting to select on the screen. This would cause me to have to hold a particular grip on the mouse longer than intended to attempt to perform the task. PROS: - Cheap - Ergonomic design - Wireless - Decent enough with battery life CONS: - Really crappy laser, makes precision very, very bad. - Poor quality laser lead to hand/wrist strain, thereby negating the ergonomic design. - This is a nitpick, but the cover on the bottom of the mouse to take out the batteries or store the USB receiver was kind of a pain to take off. If you dont have strong finger nails, you might need a pen or something pointy to pry it off.

I have big hands so I thought this would be a good mouse for me, and I assumed pretty good quality from a amazon basic product. But the mouse turned out to be very cheap feeling, feels very light, hollow, and not really accurate either. Tho the size is pretty comfortable and fits bigger hands better than regular mouse. If u dont care about build quality then its ok, Id say just go to best buy and try some other brands. I ended up with Logitech.

Even though my new Acer Chromebook has a Touchpad as well as a Touchscreen and Stylus, I still prefer the mouse interface. This AmazonBasics Wireless Mouse was so inexpensive that I decided to give it a try. Im glad I did. Its excellent. It is shaped much like Logitechs MX series mice -- the same large, ergonomically-sculpted shape which I find very comfortable (though not especially portable). I just plugged the receiver into the Chromebook and it worked! Battery life seems good. Ive been using it for more than two weeks with 2 rechargeable AAs and Im still getting 2 out of 3 LEDs on the battery indicator. It tracks predictably and remains connected. Buttons and scroll-wheel operate with the same "feel" as my Logitech mice. It is "Plug-and-Play" and does not come with any software. Instead, with whichever OS youre using, go your System Settings and make your adjustments for things like pointer speed there. Im also using two different AmazonBasics Surge protectors and a USB Hub. Ive found them all, as well as this Wireless Mouse, to be well-made, reliable and great value.

The wheel does not spin freely like the competitors MX model. I took a chance because this was so cheap verus spending $60-$125.

I recently relocated within my building at work and was running my mouse on a different type of surface that wouldnt allow it to pick up movement well. I decided to go ahead and try out this mouse and it worked flawlessly right out of the box. It fixed the issue I was having with my other mouse right away. I dont do any gaming with it as I have a separate mouse at home for that purpose so I cant speak to how well it would function there. The mouse is very comfortable to hold and it was plug and play so there was no driver to search for. I cant really speak to battery life as Im running lithium batteries so I probably wont have to worry about it for quite some time.

Wanted to give this mouse a try over the similarly priced logitech Marathon. Gave it 2 weeks of use but sent it back due to two big flaws, along with other issues: 1. Buttons were badly placed: constantly kept accidentally clicking the "thumb" button on the lower left of the mouse, which cause a lot of problems in my work. Even more annoying was I kept hitting the wrong uppers buttons. The upper buttons on the left are placed triangularly, so you have to reach your thumb a millimeter over the lower "V" button. Like this: (forward button)(back button) -----( control button )----- So as you can imagine it was very common to accidentally hit the control button when trying to reach your thumb over it to hit the forward and back button. The middle mouse button also felt weird. My mouse grip style is the "claw" grip, and my hand length is about 7.5 inches from top of middle finger to wrist. 2. Inaccurate Tracking: It took extra effort to get my mouse pointer to click exactly what I wanted it to. Since I do a lot of music editing and play strategy games, it was quite an annoyance. Especially painful when working on a sensitive project. Mouse movement did not feel smooth either and I was using an amazonbasics mousepad with it. 3. Still had to use extra USB port when using with AmazonBasics keyboard. I was hoping to only need to use one usb port since they were both amazon products, but this wasnt the case. Had to use 2 usb ports. One for the keyboard and one for the mouse. Logitech allows multiple devices with one usb port for many products. 4. Crappy Mousewheel compared to other brands. I wasnt a big fan of the feel of the mousewheel at all. The "sped up" scrolling mode was way too fast and uncontrollable, and the regular mode just didnt feel good compared to other brands. Returning this for the Logitech Marathon.

I have small hands, and short fingers. Ive had no problems with all of the other mice that I have used. This mouse, though, feels oversized. The wheel is farther down the front of the mouse, than normal. If you dont have a long index finger, you feel that you have to "reach" in order to move the wheel. The overall size of the mouse feels large and heavy. I knew within 15 min after it was delivered that I didnt like it. Called Amazon right away, and will return it. If youve got big hands or youre a big person, this mouse is good for you.
