I chose this camera based on the reviews though theyre arent many. Shipping was timely and the camera looks as described. However, I returned it the next day after dedicating an entire day using it. Pros: Looks as described, light weight and easy to use. Thats it. Cons: Youll possibly get a better picture if youre shooting or recording outdoors on an extremely sunny day. I live in Florida and the image on the screen is still extremely pixelated. You can see on the screen how noisy your photo or video will turn out. The wifi remote feature is extremely weird. The cameras wifi feature works as its on hotspot so to speak. Therefore, youll have to disconnect from normal wifi in order to utilize your phone as a remote for recording. I didnt think this was a big deal however, when youre utilizing this function the camera screen doesnt work. Instead the camera will display a blue screen with a message stating youre connected to WiFi until you disconnect from wifi. You can see yourself on your phone while recording. Also to use this feature youll need to download an app to operate it. It does not work any other way. Because the camera is set up this way, it completely defeats the purpose of having a flip screen for recording. The top button on the right says its for zoom feature however it is not. Apparently its there for show as it does not move at all and the instruction manual doesnt mention it at all. It is not compatible with a lapel mic. Not even with an adapter. The lens is comes with is pretty cheap. The image stabilization is non-existent. Over all summary: I wouldnt buy this camera for my kid or an elderly person. I understand the concept of you get what you pay for. However, sometimes you can actually find gems that are cheap And with such great reviews I thought this may be one, not so much. Also, the You Tube reviews on this camera are about as good as mine.

I was hoping for an easy to use, halfway decent quality camera, that also takes video, to take on my Alaska trip as a backup to my Samsung S8 smartphone. I need something easy to use as I did not want to take on a whole new learning curve. The camera came on time, but when I opened it to read the instruction booklet, the letters were so small I needed my reading glasses and a large magnifying glass to see anything. If you need reading glasses, you probably wont be able to read the instructions. What I could read was poorly written by someone who doesnt know how to write instructions. I figured a lot out on my own. I got the battery in the camera to charge and discovered that the battery is defective. Camera will not turn on unless its plugged in. When it does turn on the video quality is dark and grainy. Since this is 2019, not 1999, that kind of low quality is unacceptable. I might as well stick to using my phone. I got the extra lens on the camera, but now it wont come off. I cant figure out how to get it off because I cant see the instructions. I wanted to take the battery out to put it back in its plastic sleeve for return shipping, but it wont come out. This is a very cheaply made camera. And Im annoyed that I bothered. I can buy something equivalent for $20 in Target. Buyer beware, this is a crappy camera.
