Install Flash Player While I tried one of these back in February when another photographer lent it to me after complaining of constantly changing batteries and having a battery pack on my belt, I didn’t know if I wanted one. Over the summer, I gradually built my kit to include the Godox AD600 and three AD200s, along with remotes, mounts and modifiers, but felt I was missing something smaller for the run-and-gun type of shooting. This light has a good throw, along with fast recycle time. TTL functionality has so far been spot on. The fact that there’s a battery pack and not AAs means I’m not constantly changing batteries, or waiting for the flash to recycle, and it’s the same size as my other speedlights. There are a few speedlight-specific modifiers that I have and was not able to use with the new lights that I can now use again. From testing it with my Godox XPro C trigger, this is a welcome fit, giving me yet another light to add to a more complicated setup (like a hair light). The photo of my dog was a bounce off of the wall behind me and I’m totally satisfied with this speeedlight and will definitely purchase another when needed.

I have had these for quite some time now with no issues. They are my everyday work horse lights. I use these in combination with an ad 360 and ad600. These are the best lights/system, I have ever had the pleasure of using.

It works and has plenty of power, so much so that I dial it down to the lowest output for shooting interior rooms. I only gave it 4 stars because the on off switch is not very prominent and it is hard to turn the unit off without moving the camera. I shoot brackets and only want the flash to fire on the first or second exposure. The recharable battery is great and lasts a long time, but there isn’t any indicator of how much power is left, so I’m probably recharging the battery pack more than I need to. The only solution that I can see is to buy another battery pack as a backup.

My other flash is a Canon 430 EX II. This V860IIc will be my new go-to flash for those situations where flash reach, and features matter. Spend some time with the instructions to understand all the features of this flash (like stroboscopic effect). The unit has OEM fit and finish and interfaces flawlessly with my Canon 77D.

I am a Canon user and instead of buying the more expensive Canon Speedlite flash I tried the Godox. I have been thrilled with the quality and flexibility of the Godox V860II C. I have a very successful professional photographer friend that recommended this product. I have been totally impressed with the performance of this flash!

I sold my Canon speedlites for these Godox and I could not be happier. I love the lithium ion battery pack, no more worrying about buying AA batteries before shooting a wedding. The battery pack lasted an entire weekend of shooting and I still had a small charge on it when I was done. No misfires, no slowed recycle rate. Great product, im now a Godox fan for life!

Really digging this hot shoe flash. After shopping around and experimenting with various brands and models, this Godox model is the one I felt was the best value. Yes there are cheaper flashes but they arent reliable. Reliability of gear is essential with professional photographers. There are other name brand flashes of similar quality but they cost 3 to 5 times as much. Im very happy with this flash

This flash is a workhorse. I wanted a speed light that will allow for hss and would integrate with my x1 wireless trigger and this fits the bill. Battery life is amazing and fires every time.
