This is a great addition if you use Godox, Cheetah, or Flashpoint flash units that have the 2.4 GHz channels. It works as well or better than my Nikon units. I have several in my light kit for doing architectural and real estate photography. I have also used them in light modifiers to take portraits. My newest Nikon SB-5000 sucks because they sell it as a wireless flash but you have to buy an additional $200.00 adapter to go on your camera to make that work. I can buy 6 of these for what one SB-5000 cost. If they break I will buy another one. The build quality seems fine to me and they should hold up well if not abused.

I previously bought a Godox battery pack and love it. When one of my flashes died, I decided to get a Godox to replace it. I studied the different models and chose this one. When it was delivered, I was impressed with the apparent quality of build, but found that it was totally manual. I misunderstood the description when it said it would zoom up to 200 mm, which is something I wanted, as well as a high-speed flash. I found after receiving it that could only be done manually. I shoot sports and auto racing, so I dont have the time to manually change settings. I returned it and ordered the TT985c, which arrived today and does what I want. If you are looking for an inexpensive flash with manual adjustments only, this may be what you are looking for. There are cheaper ones available, and Ive owned a few, but the quality of this just feels better.

An excellent value, especially when paired with a Godox X1C trigger. I can verify that you can truly achieve high speed sync up -- I have tested it up to 1/1000th with my Canon T3i, and you can "defeat the sun" with aperture wide open at f/1.8 without needing any ND filters. Please note: this is NOT a TTL flash -- I shoot in manual, including my speed lights, so thats fine with me at this price point.

i really liked this flash and was going to get an additional one with remote triggers made for this kind But Now recently the socket hot shoe of the flash started to depart, screws therein became loosen and then it was too disconnected that it would not fire with oncamera... How can I repair this from the seller at no cost since i believe it was a error in the production .... besides all this happening... this is a great flash... i dont get the gloves but ok :/

Overall I like the button layout compared to the other offbrand flashes Ive been using. The problem is that the head is so tight that when I went to rotate the head, it twisted the base to the point of loosening the hotshoe base. I had to take both of these apart after the first night to reset the screws in the base. I now just use these as pole lights so I dont have to try and rotate the heads.

This review is for Godox TT600 Speedlite Flash. I am a professional wedding/portrait photographer based in NYC. The reason that I purchased the TT600 is because my prior experience with Godox V850 and Godox AD180. V850 and AD180 works great with Godox 433MHz trigger. I had purchased a total of 4 TT600 to supplement my current wedding light setup. Initially I thought my current Godox 433Mhz trigger would work with these, but they wont. So I purchased the new 2.4GHz receivers to be used on the v850 and ad180. My current set up is to use 2 TT600 on my cameras (Fujifilm XT-1 and XE-2) and using these 2 Speedlite in Master mode to control 2 other TT600 in slave mode, plus the two V850 flash that I have with the new receiver. Everything just works great in dark wedding receptions and ceremony. Of course this is all done manually. If you need TTL support for Canon and Nikon, you can always choose other models that Godox offers. The recharge time for 2400 ma works good in full power, not as great as V850 due to the use of AA batteries. But I normally use higher ISO to reduce the output of the flash and thus reduce the recharge time of the flash. I just wish Godox can make the new trigger transmitter in 2.4Ghz for non Canon and Nikon user. As for now, this product work great for me!

As an Architectural & Real Estate Photographer, I need portable lights that can do the job and are reasonably priced. These fit the bill! Havent had one fail yet. They might not be built like a tank, but for the price, I am not complaining. I stopped using name brand speed lights a few years back and I am glad I did, I have saved a ton of money!
