This Godox TT350F flash is a FANTASTIC companion to my Fuji X-T2 camera. Although I cant yet speak to its longevity, after several days and several hundred photos, Im delighted to say that it is fully compatible with the Fuji X system, including TTL (i.e., auto flash balance) and HSS (i.e., high speed sync). I dont particularly care about TTL support, as I prefer to control the intensity of the flash myself, in manual mode. However, the HSS feature is great because youre not limited to 1/250 shutter speed. Instead, this flash can keep pace and yield good results all the way up to 1/8000 sec! Even better, this is one of the smallest flashes youre going to find and it runs on two AA batteries, so if you want a flash that balances nicely on the smallish body of the X-T2 and is lightweight enough to carry along all the time, this is a GREAT choice. In fact, at $85, its unbelievably good. The controls are simple and straightforward. I like that none of the controls are buried in sub-menus, but instead, are all quickly accessible on the back via the four main buttons (mode, zoom, sync, and slave) as well as the setting wheel which can be used to quickly adjust the flash intensity up or down in manual mode. To power on the flash, you have to hold the power button for a few seconds, which is a nice touch because it keeps the flash from getting accidentally turned on inside a bag if something bumps the power button. Lastly, there is an illuminated flash button to force fire the flash if you want to check the brightness on your subject. Even better, if you prefer to keep your hands on the camera controls as I do, you can map the flash settings to one of your four way buttons on the back of the camera. Then, at a press, you can gain access to the Fuji flash menu where you can change settings from TTL to Manual to Multi-flash to Off, and also adjust the relative intensity of the flash (from 1/16 to 1/1 power, in 1/3 stop increments) using the rear dial/thumb wheel. So nice. The flash head has a removable diffuser as well as the usual pull-out wide angle lens and white bounce card. The latter works great for casting a soft, even light plus a nice little "catchlight" in the eyes of your subject. Indoors, this flash really shines. With the proper exposure settings and the usual considerations that go with flash photography (i.e., paying careful attention to subject distance and shadows), its guide number (GN) of 36 offers plenty of power and adjustability to grab nice, evenly lit shots of people. Outside, the HSS feature also allows for you to use fill flash to brighten a very close foreground subject against a bright background while using a wide aperture for shallow depth of field; however, in that role, the flash will often feel underpowered as it takes considerable light to overpower the backlit/silhouette effect on a bright day. I find that I usually have to set the flash to full power (1/1) in manual mode and still be within 5 feet or less of my subject. With my Fuji XF35mm f/2 lens (50mm equivalent), that means Im limited mainly to head and shoulders shots only if I want a blue sky in the background in mid-day. Nevertheless, its cool that this flash allows for that kind of thing, and it definitely opens up more creative possibilities. If youre looking for an HSS and TTL capable flash in a small, light form factor with the potential to be integrated into a full wireless multi-flash system (which will require more Godox flashes and/or their X1F wireless transmitter/trigger), this is one of your ONLY choices. At $85, it also happens to be one of the most outstanding values, costing less than a fourth of what Fujis own HSS capable flash would cost you. To me, that made it a no brainer. This is an excellent, compact, on-the-camera solution for dim indoor shots and limited fill flash purposes, with future upgrade potential because it can also be incorporated with, or used to trigger, any of Godoxs other wireless system lighting options. I love it! [UPDATE 7-18-17: I continue to love this flash and it has proven to be both durable and functional so far. One of the comments asked why I gave it four stars instead of five, given how much I like it, so I thought I would expand on my original review. A key reason I deducted one star is that many users will desire the HSS functionality of this flash because theyre hoping to get nicely balanced fill flash shots WITH nicely blurred backgrounds outdoors, in bright light, by combining a wide aperture and fast shutter speed. However, this flash does not really have adequate power to capitalize on that advantage in really bright light unless you also pair it with additional flashes and/or are VERY close to your subject. This is not misrepresentation on Godoxs part; theyre up front about the guide number. But its still unfortunate as I wouldve liked to see them cram more power into this flash, even if it meant bumping up the price point a little. Also factoring into my decision is the thumb-screw style hot-shoe lock, which screws down adequately firmly to stabilize the flash, but feels rather plasticky and cheap (i.e., it feels like the weakest point of the entire build). It may hold up over time--only time will tell--but I wouldve much preferred a more robust locking mechanism and ideally a flip-style lever lock as you find on many other flashes. Additionally, the recharge rate seems a little slower with some battery types and/or once the batteries are drained to a certain level. For a 2AA operated flash, it is more than acceptable performance (and on fresh batteries, its quite good--often under 2 seconds), but after continued use, the recharge rate can drop to as much as 5-7 seconds when firing the flash at full power. This is particularly noticeable using Eneloop rechargeable batteries, which work great for the first several dozen flashes on a full charge, but diminish in performance by taking longer for the flash to recharge thereafter. To be clear, none of these is a significant drawback, but since I dont have the option to award 4.5 stars, I rounded down to 4 stars. Nevertheless, I may still be being too tough on this flash; the fact is, its so good that I cant help being more bothered than I usually would be by these very few imperfections. As a reliable, functional, compact flash with TTL for Fuji cameras goes, this is pretty much an impossible deal to beat. As a tool that allows you to really enjoy the benefits of HSS for outdoor, shallow DOF images in bright light, it feels underpowered and thus, limited. Combining it with additional slave flashes may change how I feel about the HSS functionality--and might even persuade me to bump it up to five stars. But as of the time of this review, I can only evaluate the flash on its own as I dont own any other Godox components (although Ive heard such good things, it was a conscious decision to go with this brand so that, eventually, I can expand my flash options in the Godox line).]

Install Flash Player Mine showed up yesterday - Nice! Noisy zoom and decent recycle times (for only 2 tired AA eneloops) demonstrated in attached video. Perfect size for this camera! Plenty of power for fill flash and bouncing off a wall or ceiling in a reasonably sized room. Controls are significantly more intuitive than my old Nikon SB-800 (not to mention it works in TTL on a Fuji body). The HSS functionality will likely be of more use as a wireless trigger for its big brothers off camera, but Ill take it. The case is nice, but I prefer my own home-brew gobo made out of gaffers tape, and black+white craft foam to protect flashes in my bag - pictures attached. Too soon to evaluate the reliability and durability of the product, but Ive given them the 5th star "on credit" because its certainly a very promising product at a very reasonable price point and they seem to have a reasonable reputation based on their past products.

I have been using Godox flashes for a few years and I immediately bought this one when they release this model for Fuji, more becasue I need something with focus assist on low light situations (wedding receptions) than the need for a on-camera flash. Of course the power from this unit is less than the regular size flashes, but as a Fuji X-T1 user, I think the size of this flash its perfect for the Fuji (or mirrorless cameras). Also, its a transmitter and you can control and trigger your other Godox flashes (even the old generation flashes like the V850 or AD-360 with their receivers. Its tiny but powerful for its size. The prices its ridiculous low and I will bough another two units. Positive: Dirty cheap, tiny, TTL, HSS, works as Master or Slave, perfect size for mirrorless camera.Compatible with all Godox flashes, even the old generation units. Cons: Probably none if you never used other Godox Flashes, but as I did, I really missed having a Lithium rechargeable battery. But I have to say that in my last wedding reception I never had to change the two Eneloops in the whole wedding.

Much lighter than my old SB-600 but its not nearly as reliable. I shoot quick with impatient subjects on the street and have missed the shot several times due to the flash not firing. When its perfectly seated, it seems to perform really well but it doesnt stay in the hotshoe very well. It slides back just a tiny bit every time Im out shooting, usually by the second subject, its not firing because of this sliding issue. I finally realized it was because it wasnt seating fully all the time. I have the tightening knob cranked down but it still moves. The camera hangs around my neck (as did my D90 with the SB600 rig and then the XT20 with the SB600). I bought this Godox flash to lighten the load and help balance the camera around my neck a bit better but this unseating issue is a problem. Im getting better at making sure the flash is seated before I fire but its damn annoying to have to remember to do that EVERY TIME I lift the lens.

Great little flash for X-T2 or X100F. On X-T2 you can set HSS, front and rear flash. Also, plus/minus 3 stops for flash compensation either on the flash on on the X-T2. Not extremely powerful maybe like the Nissan i40, but adequate. If you want more power go with the Good TT685F soon to be released. All in all a great addition to a travel camera bag.

Much better than I expected, especially considering the price. While this flash is not quite as powerful as the Fuji EF-X500, it very well built, it has better wireless connectivity and it costs much less than the Fuji. Its compact size is perfect for my XT-1 and XT-2 bodies, and it offers TTL and HSS. For everyday event shooting, family photos and general flash requirements, its an ideal choice. The instruction manual is easy to understand, and it even comes with a set of gels, carrying case, diffuser hood and mini stand. I also bought the X1T-F TTL wireless trigger which is easy to set up on camera. Based on how well these work, Im planning to add two more TT350s for multi-light setups. If I need more power, Ill get the Godox V860, which is still less than half of what the Fuji flash costs. I think Ive found the answer to my Fuji flash needs, and it doesnt cost a small fortune.

I was looking for two small wireless flash units and a trigger to build a system similar to the Canon MT-24. I bought an Olympus Macro Flash Bracket (now discontinued but available new from ebay), two TT350F units and an X Pro F trigger unit. I now have the equivalent of an MT-24 but completely wireless (no cords to deal with). The combination works well for a forensic application in TTL, HSS and manual modes. Contrary to one of the questions answered above, the Fujifilm X-E3 does operate in HSS mode. I tested my setup on the X-E3, X-H1, X-T2 and X-T3. It worked flawlessly with all four bodies. The flash manual is a bit dated and does not include the latest Fujifilm bodies. I used Godox flash units (mostly 860 VINGs) with Canon bodies for several years prior to switching to Fujifilm. They worked well then, are durable and well made. The TT350F uses Alkaline AA batteries or rechargeable batteries (e.g., Eneloop). If you have an application where you need longer battery life (e.g., long extreme macro focus stacking sessions), you might consider the more expensive V350F which uses a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery.

Im still learning the ins and outs of flash photography, but I was stoked to find such a good option for my Fuji X-T1 mirrorless at an affordable price. As a Fuji shooter, there arent that many option on the market with TTL and HSS, but this has both and a bunch of other useful features on top. In terms of size, its well balanced to the smaller size of mirrorless cameras and doesnt look or feel comically large on a mirrorless body, even without a battery grip. In terms of power, its a big step up from the EF-X8 flash that came with the camera. It certainly seems powerful enough for the small to medium rooms where Ive used it the most. Im sure there are larger, brighter flashes; this one is sufficient for my needs so far. Im really looking forward to testing out radio trigger functionality. I bought my fiancee the Godox TT685N, and plan to borrow it on occasion when I need an off-camera light (or vice versa). I love that both of us can the same lighting system and we dont have to make duplicate investments in gear.

Just received this small, compact Godox flash unit, and am really impressed. Mostly using it indoors with my also-new X-T20 [primarily in TTL for fill flash] and getting excellent--very pleasing--results. Its the first flash unit Ive had since the old 35mm film days, and the way this flash works with the camera is amazing. It also appears to be well made, especially considering how inexpensive it is. The control buttons are easy to manipulate, and the LCD screen is easy to read [havent really used any mode other than TTL yet, though]. Mounts securely to the hot shoe. I hope its durable--most reviews say it is.

Im primarily a landscape photographer and have never used an external flash unit, but needed one recently to shoot a wedding. After a fair amount of research, settled on this Godox TT350F to mount on my Fujifilm X-E2: I have been absolutely blown away by its effectiveness and ease-of-use, and the seamless plug-n-play manner in which it interfaces with the camera. Update the firmware, attach, adjust the compensation and head angle and go. I know there are other features in the flash unit but the basic adjustments yield fantastic results for me. As for the power of the flash - the wedding was in a medium-sized space with fairly poor ambient lighting, yet most of the time I had to turn the compensation DOWN, anywhere from -0.3 to -1.7, and further, had to leave the head pointed in the mostly vertical/bounce position (and the space had very high ceilings). Yes, with only 2 AA batteries it will need a few seconds to recover after several shots in quick succession. At the same time, I took over 600 images at the wedding and the batteries were still good to go. I just leave on the included diffuser attachment, which works beautifully. I dont know how well this unit works on other cameras but on my X-E2 ... well, Ive rarely seen a piece of technology work so well with such little fuss. Highly recommended. (Make sure you order the unit intended for your camera, e.g., TT350 F for Fujifilm, in my case.)
