Ive been using this Godox flash for just under a week now and I really love it. If you want the quick version of this review, go buy it. A+ Long version: This was my first foray into the Godox system. In the past Ive used Yongnuo, Neewer, and formerly Canon 580 and 420 series (I used to shoot with the 5D3 and 1D series). The two former were manual setups, but worked reasonably well when I needed it (with the hassles of manual setup). The canon worked well, but Im primarily in the Sony system now... When I heard about the TT350S, I knew this was for me because of the size and the capability! Size: When I put this up against the Neewer TT560, I have to say its night and day. The TT560 is about 60% heavier (Batteries installed, weighing in at 9oz for the Godox and 15oz for the Neewer). On my Sony A6300 the Godox feels balanced, and just right. Ive used the flash both indoors and outdoors and its plenty powerful to light up my subjects and the TTL metering seems to do a great job. Cycle time seems very reasonable for a two AA battery flash (much quicker than I thought it could). Accessories: Mine came with the bottom stand, a stofen like omnibouncer, carrying case, a bunch of gels and a gel holder kit. I havent used the gels yet, but the velcro system to hold the gels looks like itll do the job just fine. The omni bounce works great, and love the color I get out of the photos. Usage: Ive used it in both TTL and manual, and it works great. The menus are SUPER easy to navigate. I tried FEC (flash exposure compensation) settings on the camera and they work perfectly with the TTL. High speed sync works great too. I havent tried to pair this up with the Godox transmitter yet as I dont own one yet, but will try soon as it seems like a great system to invest the money in. Very impressed with the setup and really happy with my purchase. I will probably buy a second to work as a TTL slave. Easy A+!

Looked for a flash for my new Sony A7R2 and found several, most with a price 3 times what this flash costs. With TTL this flash works with the cameras brain to provide just the right flash when needed. Simple to also set it on the fly to one or two stops over and underexposed, in 1/3 stop increments. A fine piece of engineering, seems to be well built, everything the other reviewers stated when I was making my selection. With this I can purchase another like it later and set either to master and one to slave for more flash options.

For the price this flash is amazing. It offers nearly all the abilities the Sony $600+ flashes do for a fraction of the price. Solid build quality and im very happy with it overall! Above is a shot I took with the flash on my first day owning.

Man oh man this flash is BOMB!!! I’m a intermediate skilled photographer shooting with Sony a6000 and let me tell you, since I bought this flash, my pictures look 4x more sharp and the size balances my camera perfectly! Well worth the investment for the price!

So far a great fit for my Sony A7s and a6500. The compact size/output for its size are great and you get TTL and HSS and a whole bunch of features! The only thing that would make it better is if it had a rechargable pack like the v850/v860 lines.

Ive been looking for ttl flash with hss for my a6000. I passed on the nissin because its too bulky and expensive. The godox tt350s is the one that fits the budget and packed with features. It does have a misfire sometimes but only if you push it too hard with burst shots and wont let it recycle for the next shot. For a flash this size with wireless commander built-in, its a no brainer.

First of all, it was smaller than I expected, that wasn’t a turn off for me though, just not what I was expecting. I appreciate the price point but I used this for a dark wedding venue and the flash misfired consistently, I tried everything and it worked fine when I was taking test shots, but when the time came and I needed consistent work it failed me. Other than that, my only other complaint is how terrible the battery life is. This is operated by AA batteries. The equipment feels well made and it’s withstood rain and snow so the weather proofing is decent as well. I do think that the manufacturer is solid and it’s a great starter flash for novice photographers or anyone on a budget. If i realize I’m doing something wrong which caused the issues stated above, I will update my review.

my only issue i had was that i couldnt get the zoom to work at first. pull out the diffuser and bounce card and reinsert then its all good. also watch a video on it if you plan to use a trigger, instructions are not super great on that part but, those are my only complaints i love this i am buying more. might get a more powerful one just to have in the mix but for most of my needs this blows me away.

This is a great small unit for my Sony A7 series camera. Fits the cam very well without being overly large and throws off a huge amount of light for its size. Ive had a few situations where Ive shot multi frames per second and the flash couldnt keep up. I later figured out that I was throwing too much power out of the flash for it to recycle between shots. The trick is to keep the ISO high enough, and shutter speed low and aperture wide, so that the flash isnt having to add more than 1 or 2 stops of light into the scene. With only two batteries powering the flash, have to use it within its limits (thus four stars). Oddly enough, works pretty well putting the camera on auto and let the camera / flash make the decisions.

Just received my new external flash. It took some time, but it was worth the wait. I was kinda skeptical with the company I ordered it from since its from outside the US. However, they were one of the first to have this external flash available on amazon. Ive been looking around and debating on getting the bigger version. Im glad I didnt and I got this instead. Size is perfect. Not too big and powerful enough to produce good lighting. The company was awesome. The seller answered all my questions and provided me information that I needed. Overall it was great doing business with them and its a great product to have.
