The 80D is a fantastic camera and has been reviewed a 1000 times over. No issue with the camera, however, this bundle includes a battery grip. The bundle does not specify the manufacturer of the grip and I was sent a Vivitar. The look and feel is ok of the Vivitar but my complaint is that the camera gives you a "Not an authentic Canon Battery" when you install that grip. You can say continue to use but it gives you the nag of doing so at your own risk. Why would Focus Camera bundle a grip that does not work with the camera? I contacted them twice and first was told to contact Canon. Im sure Canon would love to support a grip that isnt theirs? Then they told me to contact Vivitar but didnt give me any contact info. I went ahead and purchased a new grip, Powerextra BG-E14 Battery Grip for Canon EOS 70D/80D and all is good in the universe once again. The camera is fantastic, the three stars because buyer beware of this bundle in that the grip causes battery issues and you will need to spend at least another $40 to get a grip that works! UPDATED REVIEW Feb 9, 2016 - I was contacted by Focus Camera and they were concerned about the Vivitar grip causing the camera to report non-Canon batteries with no battery levels. I had explained that others purchasing the Vivitar grip for the 80D outside of this bundle were having similar problems. They offered an instant refund for the grip as I had already purchased another grip from another manufacturer. I am changing my star levels because the camera is fantastic and once Focus Camera got involved they took care of me.

RESEARCH For about a month and half before purchasing the camera, I had done quite a bit of researching on this camera, as well as a couple of other cameras (pretty much between Nikon and Canon cameras), trying to decide which camera to get. Watching YouTube videos, reading reviews online and seeing sample photos, I eventually decided that this camera was the one to get. Let me say that - after using this camera for about a month - I LOVE THIS CAMERA. PHYSICAL CAMERA AND KIT REVIEW Physically, the Canon EOS 80D is a pretty hefty camera. Its larger body feels very comfortable in your hands, and the weight of the camera feels like you are holding something study and substantial. The kit comes with two different Canon brand lenses (an 18-55mm lens for close up shots and a 55-250mm lens for further shots), which are clear and produce great images. I did notice some lens distortion (bending on the image edges) with the larger lens, but it was very minimal and wouldnt be noticeable without close review. Another issue I have is that the viewfinder eye piece seems very dark when looking through it. This is really a moot point, however, because you can switch to viewing your image through the LCD, which is a much more convenient way to shoot photos - especially when trying to get that sweet new angle youve been trying to get! Besides the two Canon branded lenses, the kit also comes with an 1865mAh Canon brand battery (with Canon Charger), along with a Focus brand battery + Focus brand Rapid Charger. Having two batteries and chargers is extremely useful for quickly getting up and running with this camera. There is also a Sony brand 32GB SD card included in this kit, which can hold hundreds of RAW + Large JPEG files, so if youre just getting started, this should be more than enough space for you. The bag included with this kit is also nice, although it is a bit on the small side. The inside contains a number of "walls" which can be re-positioned using the built in velcro, so you can organize your camera accessories the way you want. I find that its hard to fit all the accessories include with this kit in the bag, and everything fits very snug. The other accessories for the camera (camera grip, lens cleaner, filters, etc) are nice additions, but I personally have not used them / found a need for them just yet in my hobbyist use. CAMERA QUALITY The quality of this camera is superb! I cannot stress this enough - it takes amazing pictures in all light situations (include low light situations), and the level of detail that it captures is astounding. Pictures speak better than words, so attached are a couple of sample images. OVERALL Overall - if you are on the fence about getting this camera [bundle], let me help you out... Get it. You wont regret it, and youll love your purchase. Be sure to do your research though - there are a LOT of options with this camera, and only be learning to use it will you really get your moneys worth. ADDITIONAL NOTES As you start using your camera, youll learn that the lenses that come with the kit (the 18-55mm lens and the 55-250mm lens) dont fit certain situations that well. Luckily, Canon has been in the business a while, so you will have PLENTY of lens options. Some lenses cost more than others (as you learn more about the lenses, you will understand why), but Canon is a good choice because there are plenty of options across a wide range of prices. I havent really reviewed the video capabilities of the camera because I havent used it that much. This camera can take video, and I can tell you that the video looks great. The biggest issue I have is when taking video with the camera is when you have to zoom; you have to manually turn the dial to zoom in your lens, which might not be smooth and may cause dial rotation noise on your video. There is a Canon Power Zoom accessory you can buy and attach to your lens, so know that this option is available if you want to use your camera to take more than just photos. I hope this review has helped you make a decision. Its a lot of money to spend, but if your in the market for a DSLR, this is the camera (and kit) to get.

Install Flash Player CAMERA: The camera itself is superb. I upgraded from the canon t5 & wow what a HUGE difference. There is so much to do on this camera. I have not tested or tried everything. I mainly got it for video & I am so impressed. being able to really control and customize the settings has made the color and video quality so nice. In post production I dont even need to edit any of the colors or mess with anything! See the video as an example. Straight off the memory card & no editing what so ever... I just love this camera. ACCESSORIES: I have used every single accessory in this bundle. There are a lot of other kits and bundle deals on Amazon, but if you really look at them they are filled with a bunch of useless cheap, junk or stuff that you will never even touch. Its all hype just to make you feel like youre getting more for your money. I dont like having clutter or junk all around so thats why I opted for this kit. ✔︎ The carry/storage case is a must ✔︎ The extra battery.. HECK YEA thats necessary ✔︎ The cleaning kit - used this for all my lenses, worked great ✔︎ The memory card - even if you already have one, who doesnt need another? ✔︎ Rode Mic - very happy this came with it, it made a big difference with sound and is useful for remote shooting PACKAGING: Everything came packaged in a box within a box. I felt very comfortable knowing that nothing was damaged during transit bc everything was very secure CONCLUSION: If you are looking to upgrade & interested in the 80D Just Do it! You will be as excited as I am! & purchase from this seller.. great accessory kit. :)

This was a gift for my son for Christmas and he loves it. This camera does so many things, ever day he learns a new tip/trick. Hes been very happy. The price that was paid was the same as that of one of the major membership stores, but with so many more accessories which has kept him quite busy. Would definitely purchase product again. Very happy with the prompt delivery and packaging from the shipper, Focus Camera.

Got this kit for my birthday present to myself and wasnt sure if it was a good deal, package arrived and everything came with it what I ordered. Id say I got a deal for what I got with my money, lens at good, and its a good kit to start off with too! Im just a beginner in photography and the brand Focus made it a special experience in representing part the experience of it

The products arrived in a box inside a box and the camera inside its original box. Very well packed! The camera comes with a canon 1 year warranty. Dont forget to register it online. The SD card is a 80 Mb/s which is a great for shooting HD videos. The camera works great and for someone who is not used to canon I find it very ergonomic. The key items in this bundle is definitely the microphone that you basically only pay 30 dollars instead of 90. However it does not come with a fur windshield. Not the best microphone but one of the best on budget and for beginners.

Bought this for my wife as a replacement for her 50 D and she loves it. The 50 D had spots on the pictures and Canon no longer services that model. This is quite an upgrade.

Great camera. The articulating screen is the best feature, also the touch screen is responsive. The IR lens work great, but I did not test how many stops it gives you.
